OCD

I was doing dishes tonight, and when I peeked in the front room to see what Neeley was doing, this is what I found. Maybe I should let her organize the rest of the house!

I'm in L-O-V-E . . . .

Mom . . . this "commercial" is for you! My sweet mom is always telling me about new products she has bought - mostly laundry soap and cleaners. She hasn't told me about this one yet, so I'm beating her to the punch! I was at the store the other day and needed 409, which I still like, but my heart now belongs to another all-purpose cleaner . . . . Clorox Green Works. I thinks I was swayed by the pretty green color and the flower on the label. How cheerful! It works as good as 409, but smells oh-so-yummy. If only this pictures was scratch and sniff! I think it smells like lemon sugar cookies. I really think I'll clean more if my cleaner smells like cookies! Plus, I have serious paranoia about breathing cleaning chemicals because I'm afraid it will hurt my baby.

So all you cleaning fanatics, go out and try new Clorox Green Works. But be sure you have some sugar cookies on hand for an after-cleaning snack!

Finger Lickin' Good

I used to love when my mom would make sandwich cookies with graham crackers and chocolate frosting, and thought Neeley would probably like them too, since she loves anything chocolate. I love the sweet pictures of her loving her treat!

First French Braids

I just had to take these pictures so that I could remember Neeley's first French Braids. Aunt Nettie is quite the stylist! I can't believe she held still long enough for Lynette to braid her hair. She will hardly hold still long enough for me to give her piggies. The braids didn't last long, but at least I was able to snap a few pics to remember this monumental moment.

Swimming with Aunt Nettie

Just a few swimming pictures. Lynette said that I can't post any pictures of her in a swimming suit on my blog. Rude, huh?

Grandma & Grandpa Holm's House

Brian had to work in Milford for a day, so Neeley and I went along for the ride - - good times for the three of us in the ol' Sturgeon work truck. Lynette, Dustin, and the boys, and Rachel and Lance were there. Neeley had such a good time with her cousins.

Jase was showing Neeley how to play 'dinosaurs'. What a helpful boy!
And here's Neeley throwing the frisbee to Jase. (Brian didn't think I should let her play outside in her underwear, but my mom & dad don't have close neighbors, and it was hot.)

Old Hat, New Hat

I know I post tons of pictures of Neeley and Brian, but I'm always the one taking the pictures. Anyway, Brian was reading to Neeley the other night, and she made him trade her hats. She loves to wear Brian's hats, and I love to see him wearing hers. What a great Daddy!

Neeley Singing

This is totally making me crazy - - - I have downloaded this video from my camcorder a hundred times, and the sound doesn't match the video. Any helpful suggestions? Anyway, it's still cute. When Neeley is singing "Louis", it's really the Rob Thomas song "Little Wonders" off of "Meet the Robinsons". It's one of the songs at the bottom of this blog. Click on it to hear the 'real' song, although I like Neeley's version lots better. Oops, by the way, you will have to pause the music player on the bottom of this page so that you can hear Neeley singing. For you technically challenged (Mom), the pause button is in the top left-hand corner of the player.
